do you think this nav is going to need more countries than this? or is this a set list?

and what version of IE do we try and shoot for compatability to work with, 8+?

8+ on browsers, maybe even 9+, I'll check

Def could add countries

I'd do an outter div that catches the purple

Then inner white div, with margin around it

Then just a bunch of ul li for the countries. Make one class, then update country title and flag image in HTML for less code

what you thinking on this. i researched some jquery expand/collapse menus and nothing was super spot on to what i think they are wanting to do.

a few issues..

-rounded corners, i know js has a round corner feature though, so maybe we can make a div auto size and round corners per div based on content?

-bg box height. you can see on the unselected ones the beg box is like a drop shadow. when its selected it moves up and goes past the top like 3px.

are we just going to have to change their design to fit around a prebuild menu or something or is this going to have to be spot on?

Justin Bernard on June 12, 2015:

remember that they killed the FAQ's?
all faq's are now is a sub tab on the news page, presented that same way..

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

i was under the impression they were just moving it to that section and renaming it? the only thing they have in the 'news' section are these movie clips type layout. how would they do a help section like this?

Justin Bernard on June 12, 2015:

not sure, but thats what i was told

we need to get all this wrapped, the plan was all desktop and mobile views done this week orig

how much left on mobile do you think

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

def knock out the rest today

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

might as well shoot that guy an email. looked thru the pdf and art files and theres no bust out of how they are going to do the sections of that news page. my guess is that they will want to use that styling and not throw it away to go with a plain txt version.

Justin Bernard on June 12, 2015:

will do, ill figure that out, my guess is there will be a standalone page for articles

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

i just saw the style guide that guy sent over.
they are wanting hover states and press states for the buttons? how do you do that? can you do image replace on hover and click? so those buttons need to be straight pngs including txt?

Justin Bernard on June 12, 2015:

javscript

but dont worry about any of the button over/hover stuff for now, we just need to get the pages laid out, so i can stitch the views together next week

do the main desktop/mobile views before you focus on details like nav /age gates , so i can put them together with conditionals, and then get a test build over to them so they can get cms laid out

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

btw that styleguide he sent over doesnt answer any of the FAQ questions if you asked those already to him

Justin Bernard on June 12, 2015:

nah, styleguide supposed to just be for button rollovers

we can deal with that faq thing way , way later.  how mobile view stuff looking?

Taylor Bernard on June 12, 2015:

hey do we do parralax scrolling on mobile too or do i need to merge those images ive already done and keep it all static divs?

Taylor Bernard on June 15, 2015:

on the mobile, if you chop the faq off, then the bear is hanging down into the footer. what you want to do there. make it flush with the bottom?

Justin Bernard on June 15, 2015:

not sure what you mean

Justin Bernard on June 15, 2015:

that faq section is going away all together on both mobile/desktop, so just dont lay out any of that text, and just move up whatever section was below the old faq art, and put it where the FAQ title sits in the old art

Taylor Bernard on June 15, 2015:

thats the thing. footer is below it. bear will hang down into footer. obviously not right. so chop bear off or move it up or what

Taylor Bernard on June 15, 2015:

need an answer on this. on this section right now trying to wrap it up
